Recent Progress
Progress updates are posted for the previous month the week after the monthly BEXBuilding Excellence Capital Levy provides resources for school construction, renovations, and additions. Major Activity in June 2022
Work continued in the courtyard, including sidewalk demolition. Finishes in the east gym lobby are nearly complete. Installation of gym bleachers and gym floor refinishing began. The elevator shaft structure is complete and ready for elevator installation. In the theater building, hazardous materials abatement and demolition continued, and shotcrete was installed in the auditorium. Wallboard installation began in the CTECareer and Technical Education programs provide academic and technical skills for students. building.
Major Activity Planned for July 2022
Construction began on the concrete seating steps on the courtyard. In the gym building, the bleachers and floors will be finished. The locker room finishes, including lockers, will be complete. Elevator installation will begin. Abatement will be completed in the theater building, and lighting will be installed in the performing arts center. Roof coating will start. Work in the CTECareer and Technical Education programs provide academic and technical skills for students. building includes installation of the hood and soffit and completing the roof replacement.

About the Project
This project is the second part of the Lincoln High School modernization project. It includes voluntary seismic improvements to the east buildings on the campus, added in 1959. It also includes improvements to the gymnasium, performing arts center/auditorium, and Career & Technical Education classroom.
The first part of the Lincoln modernization was completed in 2019, allowing the school to open as a new attendance area high school in Fall 2019.
There are two phases to this project.
Phase 2A: Gymnasium

- Roof replacement
Phase 2B: Auditorium, Performing Arts Center, and CTECareer and Technical Education programs provide academic and technical skills for students.
