Regional Arts Festivals May 2021

The 2021 Southeast and Central Regional Arts FestivalsGraphic Design image that reads Let the Creativity Out (RAF) celebrated the arts learning taking place across the district in all grade levels with student

Youth emceed the virtual events and Creative Advantage teaching artists led youth and families in joyful music, hip hop dance, and poetry activities.

Regional Arts Festivals were developed in direct response to student requests for opportunities to showcase and celebrate the arts learning taking place in Seattle Public Schools. The Festivals were made possible through the generous support of the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation, in collaboration with students, SPS teachers, community arts partners, and our long-standing Creative Advantage partner, The Office of Arts & Culture.  A special thank you to event manager, Masao Yamada and video editor, Nate Bogopolsky.
