    Summer Music is Cancelled

Due to COVID-19, Summer Music is cancelled. In alignment with the current “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” order, Seattle Public Schools will provide virtual learning only throughout the summer. The structure of Summer Music relies on in-person ensemble-based instruction so is not conducive to a virtual learning environment. While we are disappointed at not providing Summer Music this year, the health and safety of students, families, and teachers is of utmost importance.

We look forward to providing this opportunity next Summer in 2021!

    Summer Music Overview

The Summer Music Program is a way for students to continue their music learning during the summer months. The program is designed for students entering grades 5-9 (fourth grade completed). Students must have completed at least one year of instrumental instruction. Teachers are certificated public school music teachers. All sheet music is provided by the program.
