Help Seattle Public Schools honor parent volunteers on National Volunteer Week!

Take a moment to say thank you to a school parent volunteer for their service this week. And hop over to our Twitter page to share your parent volunteer stories!

Volunteers give their time, energy and skills! And parent school volunteers take it a step further and engage in their child’s education by actively participating in it.

From supporting kindergarteners as they learn new sight words to helping high school students prepare for AP essays, our parent volunteers devote hours to help encourage success for Seattle students and school staff.

If you are a parent or guardian interested in volunteering, please contact your school to inquire on how you can help your student and school by volunteering. Remember, everyone has something to offer!

Volunteers are a critical part of the Seattle Public Schools family and we share the goal to help students be successful! Thanks for all you do!
