    Virtual Field Trips for Students

During the COVID-19 school building closures, we know our staff and students have not been able to enjoy springtime field trips with their classmates. While it's not the same as in-person experiences, Seattle Public Schools has worked with our partners at the Seattle Aquarium and the Woodland Park Zoo to bring virtual field trips to our students!

Throughout the summer, we will be creating videos that will give students a chance to explore the zoo and aquarium from the comfort and safety of their homes.

    How to Watch

These videos will be broadcasted on SPSTV and posted to the SPSTV YouTube page for students to enjoy at any time. Visit our SPSTV YouTube channel or our video archive of SPSTV videos.

SPSTV can be viewed on the following channels in the city of Seattle:

    • Comcast 26 (standard-def) 319 (hi-def)
    • Wave 26 (standard-def) 695 (hi-def)
    • Century Link 8008 (standard-def) 8508 (hi-def)

You can go on the following virtual field trips now, with more being added every week:

Thank you to our partners at the Seattle Aquarium and Woodland Park Zoo for bringing these field trips to life for our students and families. Check out the SPSTV YouTube channel each week for more virtual field trips!
