    Student Meal Support During School Closure

    Seattle Public Schools is committed to providing meal service to all SPS students during this pandemic.

    The district has school sites that serve as a hub for student meal support and provide sack breakfasts and lunches prepared by our central kitchen. The district is also providing student meals for pick up at many bus routes based on middle school neighborhoods.

    School Sites

    Seattle Public Schools has 26 schools that are serving as a hub for student meal support during the closure. These schools provide sack meals prepared by our central kitchen for all Seattle Public Schools students Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.for the duration of the school closure.

    Weekend Student Meal Support: Meal support for weekends, provided by the Backpack Brigade and Food For Schools, provides non-perishable food items such as canned goods, snacks, juice, etc., is available for all families in need to pick up on Fridays.

    How to Pick Up Student Meals

    • School site locations and specific directions for each site are provided in the tabs below.
    • If you need ADA accessibility support, staff are available to provide access.
    • Students and families can not stay at the school to eat them because of social distancing guidance from state and local health agencies.
    • All students can pick up meals at these sites. Parents, and guardians may pick up meals for students. Students do not need to be in attendance.
    • If an adult is delivering to non-family members in the community and needs more than 10 meals, they should have an agency badge, be Seattle Public Schools staff, or provide evidence that they are vouched for by Seattle Public Schools staff.

    Student Meals by Bus

    Seattle Public Schools is providing student meals by bus Monday through Friday throughout Seattle beginning April 27. Please refer to our bus route maps and schedule to determine the timing of the route or the school closest to your family. Those who have received meals by bus through our pilot program also should review the maps for changes. Bus route maps and schedules are provided in the tabs below.
