    Current Phase: Construction Documents and Permitting

    • The architectural firm prepares construction drawings, specifications, and bidding documents.
    • The district applies for required building permits.

    About the Project

    This project is the second phase of the Lincoln High School modernization project. The first phase was completed in 2019, allowing the school to open as a new attendance area high school in Fall 2019.

    Phase I focused primarily on the historic buildings on the west side of campus. Phase II is focused on the existing buildings on the east side of the campus. 

    The project includes voluntary seismic improvements to the 1959 east addition, and theater, Career & Technical Education classroom, and gymnasium improvements.

    Construction Management: CBRE Heery, Inc.

    CBRE Heery Senior Project Manager: Jennifer Everett

    Project Budget: $29.0M

    Funding Source: Funded by the Building Excellence V (BEX V) Capital Levy, approved by Seattle voters in 2019.
