    About the Project

The current West Woodland Elementary School opened in 1991. It replaced an earlier school building originally opened in 1910. Enlarging the school will help address enrollment growth in the neighborhood.

A classroom addition to the 1991 building and a new, multipurpose commons will be constructed. The existing commons/stage area, gymnasium, and library will be renovated. A new PE office will be added to the gym. A covered outdoor play area will be added. The parking lot and drop off area will be reconfigured. The loading dock platform will be moved.

    Design: McGranahan Architects
