    2019 Summer Construction Projects

When school lets out for summer, work ramps up for projects funded through voter-approved capital levies. While major school construction and addition projects take multiple years, smaller projects (other building projects/systems improvement projects) are completed over the summer months to avoid disrupting teaching and learning activities. This work is funded using capital levies approved by Seattle voters.

Projects taking place this summer are funded by the 2009 Buildings, Technology, and Academics III (BTA III) Capital Levy, the 2013 Building Excellence IV (BEX IV) Capital Levy, the 2016 Buildings, Technology, and Academics IV (BTA IV) Capital Levy, and the 2019 Building Excellence V (BEX V) Capital Levy.
