The original vendor candidates from Stage 1 of the adoption process included Accelerate Learning (STEMScopes), Carbon TIME, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, McGraw Hill, PASCO, Pearson, and PEER. Also included in this process were materials developed in collaboration between teachers and university partners.

    • BIO B: Materials Developed by SPS Teachers in Collaboration with University Partners
    • CHEM A:  STEMScopes and Materials Developed by SPS Teachers
    • CHEM B:  STEMScopes

This stage includes a wider public display as well as a field test of selected units.

Samples from each candidate will be on display in the 2nd floor Professional Development Library in the John Stanford Center for Educational Excellence, as well as in the following school locations around the district:

    • Chief Sealth High School
    • Garfield High School
    • Ingraham High School
The Public Displays will be available through March 1, 2019.

When reviewing a candidate program, it is highly recommended to inspect both the printed materials and the digital materials. Each candidate program includes a digital component to their instructional materials.

Only reviewing the materials online will limit your understanding of each of the programs. For your convenience, access to each program's digital portal is provided below.
