    Students Discover Dance with Pacific Northwest Ballet

    Seattle Discover Dance Community Performance March 24

    More than 200 Seattle Public Schools students will perform an original dance performance at McCaw Hall on March 24, 2018.

    The student performance has been created and choreographed through in-school Discover Dance residencies with Pacific Northwest Ballet teaching artists.

Photo credit: Todd GardinerStudents from Daniel Bagley Elementary, Graham Hill Elementary and Licton Springs K-8 worked for 10-14 weeks with the ballet teaching artists to learn dance and choreography skills and create dances inspired by a topic from their classroom curriculum, such as social studies or science.

    This event will also feature a performances by the Graham Hill Elementary Chorus, Pacific Northwest Ballet Company members dancing excerpts from Pacific Northwest Ballet repertoire and REACH Student Dance Group. Tickets are available through the Pacific Northwest Ballet Box Office.
