October: Chief Sealth International High School

    Students at Chief Sealth

On Tuesday, October 23rd, 2019 thirteen high school scholars from Bolivia and Peru visited students at Chief Sealth International High School. They were selected through a government program in their countries in collaboration with FIUTS (Foundation for International Understanding Through Students).

The students were paired with other Chief Sealth students and enjoyed the lessons implemented by the teachers throughout the day. In some classes they were invited to present and talk about their countries. At the end of the day all the students, locals and visitors, engaged in an interesting conversation about education, lifestyle comparisons and other global and local concerns of the youth. Great experiences and great connections were made!
