    Welcome to Seattle Public Schools!

We are so glad to have you join the Seattle Public Schools family!

As of May 2, 2018, Seattle Public Schools has moved to an online onboarding process. All new hires (excluding casual hourly employees) will be sent an activation email with instructions on how to login to the NeoGov onboarding system to complete new hire paperwork, trainings and other required activities.

Two items are required before you can start work. You must come to the John Stanford Center for Educational Excellence (district administrative headquarters) to complete these tasks. Both should be completed on the same visit:

    • Fingerprinting - All new hires must be fingerprinted prior to starting work. If you have already been fingerprinted in the state of Washington within the last two years, you can indicate that on the Fingerprint Confirmation form found in your online checklist in the new onboarding system.
    • I-9 Verification - After filling out your I-9 form online, you must bring in the appropriate documentation to verify your eligibility and identity. The list of acceptable documents is found on the third page of the I-9 form found in the onboarding system.

If you have not been fingerprinted in Washington State in the last two years, click here to schedule that appointment (this will take your to our scheduler. Select "Fingerprinting" from the dropdown menu to select a time). When you come here, you will come to HR (third floor) to pay for fingerprinting, and we will also process your I-9 at that time.

If you have been fingerprinted in the last two years, you will still need to come to the John Stanford Center to complete your I-9 verification (no appointment necessary if you're not getting fingerprinted). Our office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
