    Middle School Summer Learning Opportunities 2020

    Middle School Summer Program for Current Middle School Students

    When: July 6 - August 7, 2020

    Where: These programs will operate in a virtual manner, so hours and days will vary by the individual needs of our students and their families.

    Who: Current students in middle school. Lessons and materials will be uploaded to their Schoology page and virtual lessons will begin the week of July 6. 

    Daily schedule: This is a self-paced program where students will have access to recordings and materials on their Schoology page. The lessons average 30-40 minutes per day and can be done at any time. Students may also choose to focus on a particular subject if they don't want to do all lessons.

    Cost: Free

    Summer Bridge Programs for Students Entering Middle or High School

    5th to 6th grade students and 8th to 9th grade students

     

    Summer Bridge Program for future 6th Grade Students

    In addition to the above summer middle school program, this bridge course for students entering 6th grade next year will focus on developing the skills and mindset necessary for this transition. Students will develop organizational, time management, and self-care skills to successfully navigate middle school.

    Summer Bridge Program for future 9th Grade Students

    In addition to the above summer middle school program, this bridge course for students entering 9th grade next year will focus on developing the skills and mindset necessary for this transition. Students will develop organizational, time management, and self-care skills to successfully navigate high school.
