This website was made by students Jacob Miller and Ross Monroe, who founded a web design company called Damp Flame Design back in 2005. Damp Flame has made dozens of websites before this one and more noticeably the local Husky Deli website. Jacob Miller along with Brenden Peterson (Another Damp Flame Employee) created the website site SlashDrive.net which helps students be more productive during school.

Damp Flame Design was approached by principal Bruce Bivins in the fall of 2008 with the challenge to create, design and develop the WSHS website replacement. During this time Jacob Miller and Ross Monroe were seniors in the class of 2009.

Damp Flame took the project very seriously and was able to get a working site within a month.  However due to district security measures the process was delayed and halted for quite some time.  Luckily all new WSHS students will not have to bow there heads in shame when giving someone the link to the website, or feel lost looking for information. Westside can now claim that we have the best looking and functioning website in the district.
