Hours:
The Career Center is open from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm Monday through Thursday. We are located in the northwest corner of the school library. The Center is staffed by Pamela Phillips. Students are welcome in the Career Center any time. Parents are also welcome to visit the Career Center to get information or pick up resources for their students.

NOTE: Parents must stop in the main office first to sign in as a "visitor".

How We Can Help:
The Career Center provides extensive educational and career advising for all students. Information and materials about 2 year colleges, 4 year universities, technical and vocational schools, employment and volunteer opportunities are available. The center also coordinates presentations by experts in various professional fields, as well as college conferences and fieldtrips that allow students to further explore their post-high school options.

The Career Center’s resources include:

  • computerized career information systems (WOIS and NELA-Bridges)
  • information about military program opportunities
  • information about two, and four year colleges
  • information about post high school vocational programs
  • information about service learning opportunities
  • information about scholarships opportunities
    information about financial aid opportunities
  • job interview tips & resume/cover letter assistance
  • PSAT/SAT/ACT/ASVAB info

The Career Center's services include:

  • holding informational seminar's on specific careers, and colleges
  • assistance for enrolling in vocational programs, such as City Campus and Tech prep
  • assistance in job searches
  • field trips to local businesses and career events
