Observing

The PTSA meeting originally scheduled for May 17th has been moved
back to Thursday May 17th.

Dear PTSA Members,
The next scheduled Parent Monthly Meeting is Thursday, May 17th at 6:00 pm.
Dinner and childcare will be provided. There are only two Whitworth PTSA Meetings
left before the fate of the corporation is determined next fall at Dearborn Park. If the
corporation is accepted by the parents and teachers of Dearborn Park (including former
Whitworth families) at the fall election, then the current PTSA Officers (Ms. Onderisin and I)
will step down and pass the torch on to the newly elected corporate officers. If the corporation
is rejected at the fall election, the current members of the Whitworth PTSA need to determine
and approve the final arrangements for the corporation's termination now, before the end of the
current school year. These arrangements for the distribution of corporate assets and terminating
paperwork will be carried out by Ms. Onderisin and I in the fall if the PTSA corporation is
rejected in favor of operating an independent parent group next year at Dearborn Park. Also
on the agenda for this PTSA Meeting, is reviewing the plans for the scheduled Whitworth
Carnival on Friday May 25.
Kind Regards,
Paul Maguire, Treasurer Whitworth PTSA
