Observing

Room - 101 Whitworth Elementary School 2006-07

Greetings/Namaste,
My name is Padma Panchapagesan. I am the Special education teacher for room - 101,
multiage K-5 at Whitworth Elementary. This is my fourth year at Whitworth and I love
working with my kids. I am coming from India . I had been working with children for
more than 24 years. I lived and also visited many countries since 1977. I like working with
children, spending time and doing things with my family, walking, listening to music, reading
philosophical books, watching comedies, and looking at Mother Nature.

Our paraprofessionals are Richard Boudreaux and a sub (for now) is Cindy Anderson.
Our classroom's major focus is on student safety, health and hygiene and on different
functional developmentally appropriate - pre academic, social, communicative, adaptive
and self-help skills.
Our classroom goal is to see that every child is learning, is happy, comfortable in a caring
environment and where every student is unique and special for whom they are.
Our students learn with adults and peers through one on one, small group and in circle time
activities and also as they play with toys.
