A Day in the Life of Ali

I will be telling you a bit about:

• Food- I eat a lot of varieties of food. I really like sweet foods and junk food. Some of these that I like are chocolate, ice cream, chips, and cookies. I also like a lot of healthy foods. I really love fruits, especially apples, bananas, and strawberries. I like foreign foods too. I especially enjoy Italian, Chinese, Mexican, and Thai foods. One of my favorite restaurants is a Thai restaurant called Thai Siam. It has really good Thai food.
• Clothes- I wear casual clothes most of the time. My favorite color is blue, and I wear a lot of it. A typical outfit for me would be jeans and a simple T-shirt or tank top. I do not dress up very often. I have a lot of clothes, especially hand-me-downs from my older sister. I buy a lot of my own clothes as well. My parents buy me most of my clothes. They buy me things that I need, and I buy things that I want but don't neccessarily need. I really like the clothing store Old Navy.
• Fun- I do a lot of things for fun. One of my favorite things to do are sports. I do lots of different sports throughout the year including soccer, basketball, ultimate frisbee, and track. I also love to talk to friends. I go to their houses a lot. When we are not together, we often talk on the phone or on instant messenger. I really like reading books and watching movies too. I mostly read fiction books, and I like realistic movies and chick flicks. I also like to surf the web. One of my favorite websites is bored.com.
• School- I go to Whitman Middle School. I like it so far, and I will be attending it for two more years. After that, I will probably go to Ballard High School. Right now, my favorite school subject is art. My worst subject is probably social studies or math. Math is my least favorite class to take. Most of my classes are challenging, but not too hard. I enjoy being with my friends at school.
• Home- I really like my home. I have lived there for all my life. My house is blue with white trim, and is medium sized. I have my own room, and it is upstairs in my house. I love my room. Just last year, my parents and I remodeled my room. Now it has blue and green walls and really cool furniture. My room is the place I go when I want to be alone.
• my Neighborhood- I live in Seattle, Washington, in a town called Ballard. The specific name of my town is Whittier Heights. It is mostly a residential neighborhood, and there are a lot of houses surrounding my house. There are all sorts of animals roaming around. There are squirrels, possums, crows, and raccoons. Most of my friends live in my neighborhood. This way, I can walk to most of their houses. I really like that.
