Boys Soccer Tryouts This Week: Whitman Boys Soccer tryouts begin Monday, February 23 through February 27.
Time: 2:30 – 4:30 pm
Where: Whitman Soccer Field
Who:
8th Grade: Monday, Thursday, Friday
7th Grade: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
6th Grade: Wednesday only
Requirements to turnout:
Attend all sessions according to your grade level.
A completed physical form (forms available in 101)
All players must wear shin guards.
All players should wear a white t-shirt each day.
In addition to shin guards, boys should bring warm-ups, appropriate shoes, water bottle, and size 5 soccer ball (labeled with name) to the field each day.
Boys will be sorted onto one varsity and two junior varsity teams. Teams will be announced at the end of the week. Coaches will evaluate attitude, effort, sportsmanship and teamwork as well as skill when making team assignments.
