Wedgwood Transformation Plan

The Wedgwood School Community believes that through differentiating instruction, combined with the use of NUA Literacy Instructional strategies, and by creating culturally responsive classrooms we will meet the needs of ALL our learners in our Wedgwood school community. The Wedgwood Transformation Plan, which was created by all teaching members, PTA participants and BLT members, will be used as a tool in which we continually evaluate our progress towards every student reaching their academic potential and achieve standard. The following academic learning goals will be incorporated into our daily teaching.

Reading Writing Math Climate/Disproportionality

Maintain reading performance on the 4th Grade WASL at or above the 2004 baseline of 98% for 100% of 4th grade students

 

Increase student performance on the 4th WASL to at or abaove 96% by 2010. curriculum and Instruction alignment will take place with the use of GLE's to Students' mathematical thinking. Promote a strong and supportive school community
