The technology support staff at View Ridge supports teaching in any way that we can. We have created a number of tools for teachers and classrooms that create an efficient and technology rich learning environment. View Ridge has a decent wireless network that supports two portable carts for teacher checkout. One of the carts is equipped with a projector for teacher and class presentations. We are hoping to acquire another projector as our projector is in high demand for teaching and special projects. We purchased two network LaserJet printers, and a single high quality color printer to reduce the cost of supporting a multitude of printers with costly ink cartridges, and individualized printing problems. Our new printers also produce better copies quicker. |

This cart includes the projector and and iMac that is part of the wireless network. Teachers may check the cart out and use it in their classrooms for teacher or student presentations. The cart, projector, and iMac were purchased with PTA funds. |
