The technology support staff at View Ridge is dedicated to creating a useful and efficient network to support our teachers. We currently are running a file server which creates an easy place for teachers and classrooms to save files. This makes it possible for teachers and students to access files, created in their classrooms, from anywhere in the building. This file server also acts as a central location for many behind the scenes services that support the scores of classroom workstations and other machines in the building.

Our network closet houses our file server and the central hubs and wiring for the schools intranet. The closet and new wiring infrastructure were completed at the beginning of our 2001/2002 school year.
