The View Ridge PTA Welcomes You!

We hope to welcome you soon to our new website; stay tuned while it's under construction. In the meantime, following are some short descriptions of a few of our PTA functions and committees. For those of you new to View Ridge, you'll hear information about school in three ways: "kidmail" (papers coming home in the View Ridge folder), the Newsette (our school newspaper), or via our private Yahoo site.

View Ridge PTA is a private, non-profit Parent Teacher Association with a mission to support View Ridge learners, teachers, parents, staff, and encourage the building of community. Our PTA is affiliated with the Washington State PTA, but is not connected to the Seattle School District, although we are strong supporters of Seattle Public Schools. The View Ridge PTA supports a number of committees ranging from Kids Banking to Family Support to Staff Appreciation. We also support our classrooms by contributing to our school's budget, enabling View Ridge historically to respond flexibly to District budget constraints.
