There have been a great wealth of talented Black Americans in
Track. Among the greatest were Jesse Owens, Wilma Rudolph, and Florence Griffith
Joyner ("Flo Jo").

Wilma Rudolph

woman to win three Olympic medals in track. In 1960 she was known
as the world's fastest woman runner.

Jo (Florence Griffith Joyner)
