Chess Club

Over the last few years, the T. T. Minor Chess Club has enjoyed a partnership with ChessMates, a local foundation supporting chess education in public schools. Our coaches are Otis Smith and DeWayne Dantzler.

The T.T. Minor Chess Club is open to all T.T. Minor students, grades kindergarten through 5. The club meets on Fridays after school in the Media Center.

Donations from generous individuals have helped support our students' participation in many local, regional, and state tournaments.
