"I am thrilled to be the new multi-arts teacher at Sacajawea. I requested a transfer from Eckstein Middle School (where I taught for six years) to be part of this excellent elementary school community. Thank you for the very warm welcome I've received and I look forward to a year rich in learning and creativity.

The multi-arts program at Sacajawea has an exciting geographic focus. This year, students are working in the arts to learn about Oceania (Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands). The program offers a foundation in art technique and writing. It also includes original songs, dance and performances. Students will create many art pieces, write books, produce a show and give readings."

Science & Math Fair

Our Math & Science Fair is on Thursday, February 11. Join us for this school-wide extravaganza, featuring exhibits created by students, as well as exhibits from local scientists and organizations. Previous Science and Math Fairs have boasted exhibits from the Seattle Aquarium and Woodland Park Zoo.
