Half Day Kindergarten
Lassie Webster
Room 2
Philosophy
The Sacajawea Kindergarten Arts Program is designed to give children the opportunity to explore and discover creative self-expression through various mediums in the arts and to develop positive social and communication skills. The daily schedule breaks up the day to accommodate the needs of young children for rest, play, social interaction, and learning. Each day of the week a special class in the arts is taught, including music, dance, drama, writing, and drawing. At the end of the year, the children create a performance based on their experiences in class.
