Personal and Professional History
As a professional I have worked as a teacher and social worker. I’ve been helping others since 1971 working in the fields of education, mental health, substance abuse, and foster care. I have earned a BA, 2 MA’s and a specialist degree. I’ve taught in high school, community college, middle school, and elementary school, and my wife and I have owned and operated an infent center, nursery school, and a children’s newspaper.
I have taught physical education at Sacajawea for the past five years. In the Seattle Public Schools I have worked as a computer lab aide, as a reading specialist, as a designated substitute, and a physical education specialist. I have taught classes in computer usage, reading improvement, weight lifting, diet and nutrition, sports psychology, and memory.
