Child Development: Child Development is a one semester course. Units of study, time permitting, include the following areas: children, parenting, and you, pregnancy and childbirth, plus a child's development in stages from birth through six years. In all units students work on communication skills, time management, keeping themselves, their charges and our environment safe, needs and wants assessments, healthy relationship formation and service learning.
