Dear OV Families,

Welcome to the 2007-08 school year! As PTA co-presidents, we are both very excited about the possibilities this school year holds for your student’s academic achievement and your family’s affiliation with Olympic View. We have a very hard-working group of PTA board members who have been at it all summer long getting ready to kick off the school year.

At Olympic View, the PTA has a long-standing relationship of financial and volunteer support of the school staff and administration, in order to further our overall mission of ensuring an exceptional educational experience for all children. We seek to involve as many parents, guardians and extended family members as possible in our activities because family engagement in a child’s school experience is a very strong predictor of that child’s future academic and social success.

Throughout the school year you will be presented with many opportunities to engage, as a volunteer, as a financial supporter, and as your child’s best advocate.
