Bingo was a blast Friday night.  Even though I didn’t win a thing, it was fun to mingle with the kids and adults, eat pizza and hope that maybe, just maybe, I’d win black out!  Thanks to everyone who came and participated and a huge thanks to the volunteers who put it all together.  Hope to see more of you at the next one!

I know many of you are new to North Beach this year and I just wanted to make it clear that this weekly publication is a part of our PTA group and not a publication of the school.  PTA is a non-profit and can advertise and such in their newsletter as all materials and copying are paid for through the PTA.  It is wonderful that Janet Anderson our PTA mom is so willing to create this publication each week.  Communication is so important to a school and she does an outstanding job of keeping us all in the know.  Thanks Janet.

Conferences have begun.  This is a wonderful time to get a snapshot of your student and how they are doing at school.  Teachers have been busy readying for you and I know that you will be able to get many of your questions answered and learn important information about your child.
