Can it really be true that is February at the end of this week?  This means that half of our year is complete.  “Time flies when you’re having fun.”  !

Thank you to everyone who helped at Bingo night.  I know all your efforts are appreciated and enjoyed.  Our next big event is coming up soon.  Good ready to dance your socks off at the SOCK HOP on February 8th from 6-9 pm.

This week you should have seen a PINK flyer about our new procedure for pick up.  This procedure will start Monday, February 4th.  As we roll it out, we know there will be kinks that need to be straightened out.  Again, thanks in advance for your support as we learn this new procedure.

I continue to work on our space issues and will keep you updated about our request for portables.  Tours have been going smoothly and we have had big tour groups of very interested families in our school. (Thank you tour leaders and helpers.)  I think we will be looking at healthy size classes next year.  My figures show that we will need two more classroom spaces and teachers if our students roll up and we enroll as many K’s as we did this year.  This would be our limit of students that we could handle at this site which would be about 335-340.

This summer we are looking forward to all our new renovations that will occur to our building.  The building will be closed this summer so we can have a new roof over most of our school put on, new windows in the gym, new flooring, new playground (Arches will be replaced) and paving in the back as well as a little reading nook put up.  Our bench in the hallway will be installed up front and we will also get some new plumbing upgrades.  These are your levies at work.  The changes will make our 50th celebration a real hit and next year we will start out our year with shiny floors and no leaks!  YEAH

This Thursday please join us as we celebrate our Virtue of Happiness.  Our assembly begins at 2:30.  Hope to see you all there.

Happiness and Peace,
