Technology
Last week, all staff with a computer station received brand new computers and monitors. Thanks for voting in favor of tech levies! We are now in the process of transitioning out the dinosaurs and replacing them with our old staff computers which are newer. Our training for our new software is tomorrow night. Thanks again Seattle Voters.

MAP Scores
Winter scores will be coming out with report cards after Spring Break on April 9th. Not all schools are releasing scores for winter and each school was given the choice to do this. Our staff felt it would be a good thing to give our families information at report card time with the explanation again of how to interpret the scores for your child.
Talent Show Info from Ms. Bakker
Auditions for this year’s Talent Show begin this week. Be sure to have your child check the audition schedule located in the front lobby to see which day and time you are scheduled to audition. Ms. Bakker will help the K students remember their audition time.
If you would like to assist with this year's Talent Show, please contact Luci Bakker at diluma@comcast.net.
Spectrum/ALO
Ms. Passi is collecting all the questions that have come in and will be creating an FAQ for families in regards to the questions so everyone benefits from each other’s questions and answers. We will publish this next Monday in the Principal’s bulletin.
Many families with students in the Spectrum Program received their 2010-11 assignment letters and were confused about its wording. The notifications that were sent last week will now show these children as Program: Regular if they attend North Beach, but will still be listed as Spectrum students at the central office. They will continue to be eligible for Spectrum Programs should they choose to move to another school. Although it says regular program, it does NOT mean they are no longer a Spectrum student. If you are still unsure or confused, please contact Robert Vaughn at 252-0134.
Have a great week.

FROM THE OFFICE
We are experiencing an increased number of students needing changes of clothing. If you have sweat pants that you no longer need, the Nurse’s Office would be willing to take them. We are looking at sizes that would fit K-5, boys and girls. Thanks for your help!
Our Lost and Found is overflowing. Right now it is all on display in the front hall. Please check for your lost items NOW because it will be donated to charity during Spring Break.
