- Favorite Flower: Daisies - they're such a wonderfully diverse and beautiful family of flowers.
- Favorite Color: Green - it's amazing how many shades of green our eyes can see
- Favorite Place: Home, in the mountains, by the sea
- Favorite Music: Depends on my mood - classical, blues/rock, funk or jazz.
- Favorite Book/Author: I love English Village Mystery.
- Special Interests: Walking, hiking, swimming, knitting, and classic movies from the 1930s and 1940s.
- Why I like working at Muir: Muir is a warm, friendly, and inviting place. I am very happy to be with the staff and students.

- Family: Me, my husband Steve, our dog Puck, cats Boo & Scout (It's a 'To Kill a Mockingbird' thing), chickens Roxy, Ripple and Jersey and our horse, Duke! My mom still lives in the area-also my two older brothers. Steve's family is in the Bay area and the East coast.
- Food: I love seafood, fresh fruits and vegetables in season and dark chocolate with nuts!
- Flowers: Magnolias, because they smell like heaven and my parent's front yard! Chrysanthemums because I love the way the word rolls of my tongue.
- Colors: Can't choose-that wouldn't be fair. I love all colors!
- Places: Libraries, art studios and my garden.
- Music: Jazz and The Grateful Dead
- Books: Lately I'm reading historical fiction. I love learning about history within the context of a story. Erik Larson who lives in Seattle is who I'm reading right now.
- Special interests: Cooking, gardening, reading and crafts; especially Origami!
