On Friday, November 2, 2000, The Pacific Science Center Van visited Montlake to help increase our
understanding and appreciation of science, mathematics, and technology through interactive exhibitsand class lessons.

Each class took a turn with the interactive exhibits.
Activities / and subject area addressed: clothes dryer and socks/probability and statistics, stick puzzles/logic and spatial,
abacus/general math and computing,etch-a-sketch/geometry and x/y axis, bell curve simulator/probability
and statistics
, pentaminoes/geometry and spatial, interactive fractals/patterns, stained glass tessellations/
geometry, archblocks/geometry, polydron figures/geometry, counter box/big numbers.
