Middle College Education Resource Center - Northgate

The Middle College High School Education Resource Center (MCHS/ERC) is an alternative education joint venture between Seattle Public Schools*, North Seattle Community College* and the Simon Youth Foundation*. The MCHS/ERC addresses the academic needs of a high school student who is sixteen years of age or older, wants a smaller more attentive high school experience, needs to earn credits in his or her core curriculum (Math, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, US History and World History), and can work independently in a self paced environment. Students are also eligible to participate in an internship program. The number of classes a student will have each day, will depend on the number of credits a student will need to meet the Seattle Public School high school graduation requirements.
