McClure Transitions

8th Grade Class of 2012

Dear 8^th Grade Families,

The end of the school year is fast approaching and with it, the end of our 8^th graders’ time at McClure.  Our eighth graders are ready to make the transition from middle school to high school.  We want to celebrate the middle school accomplishments of McClure’s Class of 2012 and send our students off to high school knowing they are prepared for this next step in their lives.

Two events are planned to give students a chance to celebrate their experiences and accomplishments at McClure and the friendships they’ve made. 

Golden Gardens Picnic and BBQ

Friday, June 13, 2008 - 9:30am to 2:00pm - Golden Gardens Bathhouse

8^th Grade Promotion Ceremony

Monday, June 16, 2008 - 7:00pm - Armory at South Lake Union

1. Golden Gardens Beach Day field trip authorization form with fee included

2. Parent/guardian authorization and medical release form for any student planning to be present at the Armory without a parent/guardian.

3. Volunteer form if you are able to help. (Please return this form ASAP)

Remember:  All McClure “Rules of Conduct” apply to all participants during these events; those not following these rules will be asked to leave.
