Helping kids reach for the sky

Sponsored by United Way with more than 60 community partners, the SOAR initiative is committed to achieving progress in four areas for families and their children, birth to 18 years old. SOAR Action Teams work on community projects ranging from improving child care to educating parents to developing youth leadership. Members include organizations serving children and youth, businesses, grant makers, governments, faith-based groups, parents and community leaders.
