History of Maple Elementary

In 1866, the first Maple Elementary School was named after Jacob Maple and his son Samual, Seattle pioneers. Our present building, opened in 1971, was designed with an open-concept floor plan. It offers the opportunity for a combined classroom instruction environment and a self-contained team teaching approach to learning.
