School Test Scores

Our WASL data from 2006-2007 showed impressive achievement gains for students in reading, writing, and math across the school. Despite impressive gains in 3rd-6th grade reading, 4th and 7th grade writing, and 3rd-5th grade mathematics, our data identifies a definitive need for focus on middle school math and reading achievement.

• At 3rd grade, 76% of scholars were proficient in reading and 70% in math.
• At 4th grade, 74.4% of scholars were proficient in reading, 46.2% in math, and 53.8% in writing.
• At 5th grade, 65.2% were proficient in reading and 31.9% in math.
• At 6th grade, 57.9% of students met standard in reading and 22.8% in math.
• At 7th grade, 53.2% of students met standard in reading, 72.3% in writing, and 27.7% in math.
• At 8th grade, 53.5% of students met standard in reading and 20.9% in math.
