Explorations in Math

Math Club.  This club provides an opportunity for students to practice and learn new math skills in a fun, non-graded environment.  There will be two groups:  the beginning math group and the intermediate group. Teacher leaders and start date to be determined.

Homework Club

Homework Club is better than ever this year and will be available Monday through Thursday. This is a great place for kids to come get extra help with schoolwork.  Parent volunteers are needed to help with the Homework Club.  This could be a weekly commitment by one parent or a rotation with two or more parents. Please contact me if you can help out. Teacher leaders and start date to be determined.

Chess Club

Chess Club is also back for another year of exciting chess instruction under the direction of parent volunteer, Vanessa Turcan and a Chess Mates Foundation instructor.  Another parent volunteer interested in helping 2 days a month would be greatly appreciated.  The day of the week and age range is still to be determined.  Look for more information to come in the sign-up packet next week.
