Fundraising

The PTA Fundraising Committee welcomes everyone to a fabulous new year at Loyal Heights.  We want to take this opportunity to briefly highlight some of our fundraising events for the year.  The money raised by these events either fully funds or sponsors some of our most beloved and treasured programs offered at Loyal Heights Elementary.

Sally Foster Gift Wrapping is back by popular demand  By making your gift wrapping orders (neighbors, friends, relatives too,  if interested) through Sally Foster for the holiday season, Loyal Heights raises money. The ordering season is short and sweet, September 4th through the 24th so, please go to the office if you are interested in receiving  ordering materials.       

Jogathon.  With a quick start out of the blocks, the annual Jogathon is scheduled for October 11th.    The Jogathon is one of our most exciting and largest community building events and fundraisers of the year.  We are excited to have our first quick committee meeting on Thursday, September 6th at 2:15pm in the lunchroom.  Whether you have several minutes or several hours to spare to volunteer for some aspect of the event, we would be so appreciative of your participation!

Box Tops and grocery receipts programs.  These programs donate money to our school when we do our usual shopping.  Please look at the displays located by the office to tell you more about these programs.  Thank you for all those who took the time to save  receipts over the summer.  We look forward to tallying what was raised through the box tops program, Ballard Market receipts program and Safeway E-scripts.  

Loyal Heights 2008 Auction will be on Saturday, March 1st  Please keep an eye out for further information on this truly great event.

We are looking forward to a great year.  We always love to hear from you, whether you have an idea or suggestion or a moment to volunteer – these investments are priceless!
