Overall goals for my kindergarten class:
Encourage and enrich positive self esteem and social interactions
Become comfortable with the writing process and written work including comfort with letter sounds and recognition.
Enhance our mathematical thinking skills with "Box-It-And-Bag-It" curriculum--including activity boxes, storyboards, calendar work and incredible equations.
Use Inquiry Based Science (Animals 2x2, Fabric, and Wood), to encourage and excercise our questioning, recording and observational skills.
Continuous reinforcement and practice with critical thinking
