The PTA offers a variety of wonderful and effective fundraisers throughout the year to provide our students additional support and enrichment opportunities. Our PTA funds assemblies, staff appreciation efforts, Family Math Night, school yearbook and Literacy Night. We also provide money for building and grounds, PE equipment, teacher materials, and the computer lab. We support the Chess Club, World Languages Programs, Music and Arts Programs.
Below are all the current fundraisers at Laurelhurst for the upcoming 2009-2010 school year. The PTA offers a variety of fundraisers throughout the year, so parents, grandparents, family, and friends have many opportunities to support education at Laurelhurst. Please select those that are right for you. Any contribution adds directly to the enrichment of all the students at Laurelhurst and is very much appreciated.

Fundraisers at Laurelhurest
Sally Foster- (September) Our annual wrapping paper fundraiser happens each fall. We are able to earn 55% of the proceeds made at this sale. You also may order year round, on SallyFoster.com with our account number 0292052.
School Shirts Sales- (October) Our shirt sale happens every October. Help us raise school spirit and school funds by buying shirts and sweatshirts for the whole family.
Kids Karnival- (October) In late October every year we have our Kids Karnival. Bring the whole family and join our community for games, prizes, activities and pizza dinner.
Wreath Sale- (November) Get ready for the holidays by purchasing fresh evergreen wreathes and garlands at our annual sale.
Scholastic Book Fair- (January) Come shopping at our annual book fair. Books for all levels are available. This sale takes place in our cafeteria every January.
Auction - (March) Our biggest fundraiser takes place every March. Join us for a wonderful adult only evening of dinner, drinks, and bidding.
Ice Cream Social - (June) We wrap up our school year with our annual Ice Cream Social. The whole community comes out for an evening of games, fun, the ever popular dunking tank and much more.
Scrip - (year round) You buy scrip cards at Laurelhurst and then use it like cash. Laurelhurst receives a discount from the stores while you receive the full value of your purchase. We earn money by you shopping and purchasing things as normal.
