Science
John Hay's staff is committed to providing rigorous, high-quality science instruction that aligns with state standards. Thanks to our district's K-12 science program, our teachers regularly participate in science trainings and receive science materials each quarter from the Science Materials Center.
Students explore science through a variety of hands-on activities, and they maintain science journals that link science instruction to literacy and math skills.
