Fundraising

At Hay, we focus on two major fundraisers each year to bring in the bulk of the $300,000 needed annually to support our enriched curriculum. Beyond that, we take advantage of programs that donate a portion of proceeds from common activities such as shopping, using debit and/or credit cards, and recycling. This year, we're also looking into grants as a potential source of new funding.

Whether you donate money, time, or items, there are LOTS of ways to pitch in and help out with our fundraising efforts! See below for a description of each fundraising program and the many jobs performed by family volunteers. So go ahead, grab some friends and join in the fun! It's for a really good cause--our kids!

Events

Fall Move-A-Thon
Friday, October 16th, 2009
This event is always a success and tons of fun for the whole student body! Students collect per-lap or lump sum dollar pledges, lap around the school on Move-A-Thon Day, and then proudly turn in the funds they've earned to support their school. This exciting day requires lots of
volunteers, both in the planning stages and for the day of the event!

Spring Auction
Saturday, May 1st, 2010
Our biggest fundraiser of the year is also a fabulously fun and inspiring event for Hay parents, staff, relatives and friends. This big production requires many
volunteers; please help us make this event a success!
