I began working for Interagency as a student intern the 1975-76 school year.  I returned in 1989 as a Special Education teacher in the Detention Center School.  I became Site Coordinator at the Detention Center School a couple years later.  I am now the Principal for Interagency.

There is a special place in my heart for students who are having difficulties in their lives or who just don’t feel that a traditional school is a good fit for them.  I know from experience how difficult it is to focus on school when there are unmet needs and crises in one’s life.  I am honored to be a part of an environment that nurtures students emotionally, socially, and academically and that assists them on their journey toward reaching their full potential as human beings.

For over five years, I have been subbing for the district. Interagency hired me as a full time support staff. I enjoy working with Interagency because of the rapport I have with th e staff, with the students and with the parents. I am currently enrolling into grad school working towards obtaining my BA in education.
