The vision for the Interagency Arts Program is to create integrated arts education curriculum, bringing together the arts with each other or other subjects. In IA Arts Projects, the arts are integrated into the core curriculum, allowing students to explore the world around them in new ways. Projects have included the integration of visual art, poetry/creative writing, dance, music, and theater with language arts, science, health, political science, history, and vocational studies.

"Introducing a child to the arts establishes an immediate link to a world of infinite pssibilities, creates a timeless bond with the powers of the imagination and initiates a lifelong relationship that will only deepen and strengthen over time." --From United Arts, Raleigh, NC
