The mentoring of future leaders cannot be underestimated; nor can the experience of working in a professional setting. Utilizing many of the same themes of the full-length political history VIC, produced at the Open Circle Theater, this shorter piece was developed and rehearsed in an intense five-day period and presented one evening alongside its professional inspiration. By working directly with an active playwright under the auspices of a current production, these students gained insight into the relationship between germination of an idea and its fullest realization.
